Emily was found as a stray and turned into our rescue. We believe she is young, probably between 1 and 1.5 years old and is about 105 pounds and could gain a few more. She is mostly crate trained and is house broken.
So far Emily has done fine with the dogs or cats she has met however she is very active and not particularly safe with small pets. Emily is also lacking in basic manners so we are working with her however she will likely need someone who will dedicate more time to training. She is also being exposed to more people and situations as she isn’t always sure of new places or people. Given her age and activity level we feel she will do best with another large, active male dog in the home. She will need a fenced yard as a regular release for her energy, she is very active and playful!
Emily is up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested negative and on monthly preventative. She will be spayed and microchipped before she is ready for adoption. We anticipate her being ready for adoption in mid June.
